What you can do when you are feeling worthless…
Feeling worthless can be extremely devastating for our body and mind. It can also have long-term negative side effects. Therefore, if you have been feeling worthless, you need to stop right there.
Take a step back from abusing yourself and feeling worthless to going to a quiet place (maybe your bedroom) and lying down. Next, ask yourself why you have been thinking this way about yourself. Have your friends hinted at this, or your family or society in general.
Once you know why you feel this way, ask yourself, "How does what someone else thinks of me affect me in reality?" You will realize that it actually does not affect you. You are living in an illusion and letting it affect you.
If the above does not make much sense to you, let me share a personal story with you. I had premature balding from when I was 16 years (school days). Trust me. I didn't like myself and kind of hated it. I felt that people don't like me and did not want to be around me because I was going bald.
However, the reality was quite different. It was because of my low self-confidence and the insecure vibe I put out due to my balding problem, that people didn’t want to associate with me.
Once I got out of school, I asked myself these questions, worked on my mindset, and changed how I perceive myself. Trust me. Things changed drastically after that. People wanted to talk to me. No one really cared about whether I am bald or not. People liked me because of my nature and personality.
